Aims & Mission Statement


Our main aim at TLC is to create a safe and caring environment for children from the age of 6 weeks to 11 years. Parents are assured that their children will be cherished and looked after, whilst benefitting from the same traditions and values of home. We aim to provide the highest level of childcare possible, within carefully planned routines, and within an environment which provides each child with happiness and security.


At TLC we are very aware that all children are unique individuals with their own personality and we aim each child in our care can develop at their own pace, whilst discovering that learning for life is fun and fascinating.

 

OUR AIMS:

 

1.  To help each child to achieve their best in a caring, nurturing and supportive environment.

6.  To encourage the child to enjoy physical play and promote health, well-being and all round development.

 

7.  To provide excellent teaching through a highly qualified and motivated staff group.

 

8.  To ensure we work in partnership with parents and carers.

 

9.  To build upon the child's talents, motivations and interests.

 

10.  To respect each child as an individual, valuing their unique and special qualities.

 

11.  To be aware through careful observation and record-keeping of the individual child's need and progress.

 

12.  To continually strive for excellence by leading staff through a process of reflection and evaluation of the work of the centre.
